Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for optimization
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and industry-specific regulations
- Prepare and present financial statements to stakeholders and executive leadership
- Lead internal audits and coordinate external auditor relationships
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risk and improve efficiency
- Maintain accurate fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite) and MS Excel
- Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial insights to non-finance teams
- Proven experience managing month-end close processes and reconciliations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
