Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles, including vendor relationships and payment processing.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and variance reports for executive leadership.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations.
- Lead cross-departmental financial audits and coordinate with external auditors.
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic business decisions.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize departmental workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate finance teams.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP).
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Proven track record in leading month-end closes and audit processes.
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication abilities for presenting complex financial data to stakeholders.
