Responsibilities
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with attention to GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and optimize cash flow
- Lead internal audits and collaborate with external auditors
- Develop and maintain robust financial reporting systems
- Ensure tax compliance and assist with tax filings
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel advanced functions
- Proven track record in financial reporting, audits, and compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing financial teams and cross-departmental projects
- Knowledge of California tax regulations and financial standards
