Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide strategic insights to leadership
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and industry-specific regulations
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for multiple business units
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements and system implementations
- Prepare and present financial statements to executive stakeholders
- Mentor junior accounting staff and support team development initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, audits, and compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax regulations and international accounting standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex financial concepts
