Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for diverse client portfolios including AR/AP, GL reconciliation, and month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, variance reports, and KPI dashboards
- Lead internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Implement process improvements using accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero)
- Mentor junior staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives
- Develop tax planning strategies and manage business tax filings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 5+ years of public accounting experience
- CPA certification required (active or pending)
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance and audit procedures
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong written/verbal communication abilities
- Ability to thrive under tight deadlines in a client-facing role
