As a key member of our finance team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements while supporting our clients' financial health. We value precision, analytical thinking, and proactive problem-solving in everything we do.
Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee general ledger maintenance and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Prepare complex financial statements and management reports for diverse client portfolios
- Lead internal control audits and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with tax professionals on compliance and tax planning strategies
- Mentor junior accountants and provide technical guidance on accounting standards
- Utilize ERP systems (NetSuite/Oracle) for financial data analysis and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing multiple client accounts or complex financial operations
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
