Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and optimize cash flow management
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with variance reporting for stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and industry-specific regulations
- Lead audit processes and maintain accurate financial documentation
- Implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency
- Mentor junior accountants and cross-departmental financial initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate settings
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel (VLOOKUP/PivotTables)
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end closing and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage audits and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations
- Experience in multi-state tax compliance a plus
