Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes for 15+ client portfolios
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct internal audits and ensure GAAP/SEC compliance
- Lead tax preparation and compliance initiatives for corporate entities
- Mentor junior accountants on accounting software and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years public accounting experience with Big 4 or regional firm
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel macros
- Proven expertise in GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
