Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead budgeting processes and variance reporting for key departments
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and cash flow management
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Implement process improvements using financial systems (QuickBooks, Oracle)
- Mentor junior accountants and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven experience managing month-end close processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
