Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes for client portfolios
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis and financial forecasting
- Manage audit coordination and tax compliance documentation
- Develop and implement process improvements for accounting workflows
- Mentor junior accountants and provide financial guidance to clients
- Utilize advanced Excel functions and accounting software for data analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and California tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with SaaS or technology industry accounting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
