Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15-20 high-growth startups
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Conduct internal audits and SOX compliance testing
- Develop customized financial models for client forecasting
- Mentor junior accountants using our proprietary platform
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting or corporate accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel
- Deep understanding of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Experience with SaaS or tech industry accounting
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
