Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements and monthly/quarterly reports
- Manage general ledger operations and ensure accurate account reconciliations
- Lead audit processes and coordinate with external auditors
- Develop and implement financial controls to enhance operational efficiency
- Provide strategic tax planning and compliance support for clients
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize accounting workflows
- Utilize advanced Excel and accounting software for data analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience with audit/tax focus
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, IRS regulations, and California tax codes
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
