Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flows)
- Manage month-end closing processes with 3-day turnaround
- Conduct GAAP compliance audits for private equity clients
- Lead cross-departmental budget forecasting initiatives
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (Oracle/NetSuite)
- Oversee tax preparation for multi-state entities
- Mentor junior accounting staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance (CPA required)
- 5+ years public/private accounting experience
- Advanced Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros)
- ERP system implementation experience (Oracle/SAP)
- Strong SEC reporting background
- NYC-based financial services industry knowledge
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
