Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15-20 mid-market clients
- Lead quarterly and annual audits ensuring GAAP compliance
- Develop and implement financial forecasting models
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and payroll
- Advise clients on tax optimization strategies
- Maintain internal controls and SOX compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax codes, and auditing standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with multi-state compliance
- Proven track record of managing client relationships
