Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead audit preparation and compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Analyze financial trends and provide strategic insights to executive leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Implement process improvements using accounting software (NetSuite/QuickBooks)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff and ensure team productivity standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and ERP systems
- Demonstrated success in SOX compliance and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to financial detail
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audits
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder reporting
