Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end closing processes and financial statement preparation
- Manage general ledger operations and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives for 15+ departmental units
- Conduct complex reconciliations and variance analysis for key accounts
- Collaborate with audit teams during quarterly and annual reviews
- Develop and implement process improvements for accounting workflows
- Mentor junior accounting staff through hands-on training programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate settings
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Advanced Excel skills with Power Query and pivot table expertise
- Demonstrated experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments
