Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization
- Prepare and review complex financial statements for stakeholders and regulatory compliance
- Lead budgeting processes and variance analysis to drive strategic decision-making
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable functions and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial planning and forecasting initiatives
- Ensure adherence to GAAP, SOX compliance, and internal controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit coordination
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for presenting complex financial concepts
- Proven track record of process improvement and cost optimization
- Experience with multi-state tax regulations and payroll processing
