Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement
- Prepare and review complex tax filings, payroll processing, and audit documentation
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel modeling
- Lead special projects including system implementations and process automation initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate accounting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (NetSuite experience a plus)
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal control frameworks
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities in a remote environment
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication abilities for presenting complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
