Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory adherence
- Lead audit preparations and coordinate with external auditors for seamless reviews
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Maintain accurate fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Streamline accounting workflows through process optimization and technology integration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (NetSuite a plus)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and Nevada tax regulations
- Proven experience with multi-state accounting and complex reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
