Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and internal controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Develop and maintain financial models for decision-making support
- Lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Expertise in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and reducing costs
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for remote stakeholder collaboration
- Tax preparation experience for corporate entities
