Responsibilities
- Manage complex month-end closing processes and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Oversee general ledger operations, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide strategic insights to leadership
- Prepare and maintain budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and regulatory requirements
- Lead audit preparations and coordinate with external auditors
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public and private accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance standards
