Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including GL maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end closings
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, budgets, and variance reports
- Lead internal audits and implement process improvements for financial controls
- Oversee tax compliance filings and coordinate with external auditors
- Mentor junior accountants and provide training on accounting best practices
- Develop financial models for forecasting and strategic decision-making
- Ensure adherence to GAAP, SOX, and industry-specific regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA certification preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate settings
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience managing accounting teams and cross-functional projects
