Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close processes and financial statement preparation
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Conduct comprehensive audits and implement internal controls to ensure financial accuracy
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for executive decision-making and investor relations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX regulations, and state/federal tax requirements
- Lead cross-functional financial projects including budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Maintain and optimize accounting systems (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) for maximum efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or MBA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Proven track record of managing full-cycle accounting operations
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
