Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger functions and perform complex reconciliations for various accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
- Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts to support organizational goals.
- Provide financial guidance and reporting to management to drive strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
