Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives to support strategic decision-making
- Conduct internal audits to identify process improvements and control weaknesses
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial modeling and analysis projects
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems with zero tolerance for discrepancies
- Stay current on evolving tax regulations and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Demonstrated experience with financial reporting, audits, and tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication abilities for presenting financial information to stakeholders
