Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely payment cycles
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for executive stakeholders and regulatory compliance
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and tax season preparations
- Lead process improvements in accounting workflows using ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Deep understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Proven experience managing month-end closing processes
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong written/verbal communication abilities for virtual collaboration
