Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow management
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure financial compliance
- Analyze financial data to support strategic business decisions
- Collaborate with audit teams and ensure regulatory adherence
- Mentor junior accounting staff through best practices and guidance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks, Sage, and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Proven track record in month-end/year-end closing processes
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and compliance standards
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to precision
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-departmental collaboration
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
