Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end/quarter-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct variance analysis and prepare detailed financial reports for leadership
- Lead internal control audits and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with tax department on compliance filings and planning
- Maintain accurate financial records using Oracle ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Solid understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial regulations
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle NetSuite strongly preferred)
- Proven ability to manage complex reconciliations and reporting cycles
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
