Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process optimization
- Prepare and submit accurate tax filings while ensuring compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Lead internal audits and implement robust internal controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
- Maintain and improve financial systems and reporting tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with 2+ years in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle experience a plus)
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end closing processes and financial statement preparation
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
