Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15+ corporate clients including month-end close and reconciliation
- Prepare accurate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) adhering to GAAP standards
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and implement process improvements
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Lead cross-functional financial planning sessions with executive leadership
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize team workflows
- Develop custom financial models for strategic decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios
- Expertise in month-end close, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments with minimal supervision
- California CPA license required (or actively pursuing)
