Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile complex general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements compliant with GAAP standards
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Coordinate external audits and provide comprehensive documentation
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure financial integrity
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and QuickBooks/NetSuite
- Proven experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder interactions
