- Manage complex financial statements and ensure GAAP compliance for 15+ mid-market clients
- Lead month-end closing processes and reconcile accounts with precision
- Develop and implement efficient accounting systems using QuickBooks and NetSuite
- Prepare detailed tax returns and provide strategic financial consulting
- Supervise junior accountants and conduct thorough financial audits
- Analyze variance reports and recommend cost optimization strategies
- Maintain accurate client financial databases and ensure data security
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel with advanced functions
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and SEC reporting standards
- Proven track record in managing financial audits and compliance
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong leadership abilities with experience mentoring junior staff
- Active North Carolina CPA license required
