Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with reconciliations
- Manage tax compliance filings and support IRS audits
- Develop financial models for budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize department workflows
- Collaborate with CFO on strategic financial decision-making
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public/private accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax codes, and SOX compliance
- Proven experience with multi-state/corporate taxation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
