Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage complex general ledger reconciliations and month-end close processes
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow management
- Lead internal control audits and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and analysis
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and state/federal tax regulations
- Implement process improvements using accounting software (QuickBooks Enterprise)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks/ERP systems
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end closes and reconciliations
- Strong knowledge of NM state tax regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven experience in financial reporting and internal controls
