Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Coordinate internal and external audit processes
- Develop financial models and forecasts for business planning
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks Enterprise
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
- Effective communication and presentation abilities
