Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements with executive-level commentary
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including reconciliations and journal entries
- Lead internal audits and ensure SOX compliance documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Develop and maintain robust financial models for investment portfolios
- Maintain fixed asset ledger and depreciation schedules
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Implement process improvements for financial reporting efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting or corporate accounting experience
- Expertise in GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX compliance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and QuickBooks
- Experience with financial reporting tools (e.g., BlackLine, Adaptive)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proven track record of process optimization in finance operations
