Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements with precise accuracy
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes for multi-entity portfolios
- Manage VAT returns, tax computations, and statutory filings
- Develop financial models for budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement reviews
- Mentor junior accountants and cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent professional certification
- 5+ years in public practice or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Xero, Sage, and Excel with macros
- Expert knowledge of UK tax legislation and IFRS standards
- Proven experience managing multi-currency transactions
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
