Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and industry-specific standards
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls for financial processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors
- Maintain accurate financial records using advanced accounting systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Proven ability to manage complex financial projects and deadlines
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills for presenting financial insights to stakeholders
