Role Overview
We are seeking a technical expert who excels in 2D graphics programming, physics simulation, and UI engineering. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team of designers, product managers, and AI researchers to deliver seamless, high-fidelity 2D tools that push the boundaries of web and desktop applications.
Responsibilities
- Architect and optimize high-performance 2D rendering pipelines using WebGL, Canvas API, and custom shaders.
- Develop and maintain physics engines and collision detection systems for 2D interactive elements.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate complex requirements into robust, scalable code.
- Implement advanced state management and data visualization libraries for real-time analytics.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to ensure architectural best practices.
- Debug and resolve complex graphical glitches and performance bottlenecks across multiple browsers.
- Contribute to the design of our internal developer tools and prototyping frameworks.
Qualifications
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on 2D graphics or interactive tools.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, C++, or Rust.
- Expert knowledge of WebGL, OpenGL, Direct2D, or HTML5 Canvas.
- Experience with physics libraries (Matter.js, Box2D) and animation frameworks (GSAP, Anime.js).
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design patterns.
- Demonstrated ability to work in an agile environment and ship products rapidly.
