Responsibilities
- Architect & Build: Design and implement scalable 2D rendering engines using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and WebGL.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the rendering pipeline to ensure 60fps animations even on low-end devices.
- Collaboration: Partner with UX/UI designers to translate high-fidelity mockups into responsive, interactive code.
- Tooling: Develop internal libraries and tools to streamline the creation of 2D assets and animations for the design team.
- Maintenance: Maintain and evolve existing 2D interaction modules, ensuring they remain robust and bug-free.
- Code Review: Mentor junior developers, conducting rigorous code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in web development, with a specific focus on 2D graphics and animation.
- Technical Skills: Deep proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and Canvas API.
- Graphics Knowledge: Strong understanding of the browser's rendering cycle and DOM manipulation.
- Tools: Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced agile environment.
