Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end closing processes and financial reporting for diverse client portfolios
- Lead audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls for financial systems
- Prepare complex tax returns and coordinate with external auditors
- Analyze financial data to provide strategic insights to executive leadership
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing workflows
- Mentor junior accountants and optimize accounting procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (NetSuite/SAP)
- Proven audit and tax preparation experience with multi-state entities
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and precision
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder reporting
