Responsibilities
- Manage and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Monitor budgets and provide variance analysis to management to support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely processing of invoices.
- Collaborate with the finance team to implement process improvements and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite).
- CPA certification is a plus but not required.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data clearly.
