Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees across multiple states
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax compliance (federal/state/local)
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Administer time-off tracking and leave-of-absence processes
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Generate payroll reports for leadership and auditors
- Stay updated on FLSA, ACA, and state labor regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of US payroll processing experience
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar platforms
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of multi-state tax laws
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written communication for audit documentation
