Responsibilities
- Process and distribute accurate weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payroll for 200+ employees across multiple states
- Manage tax filings, garnishments, and deductions ensuring full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies with precision and timeliness
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams on onboarding/offboarding processes and compensation changes
- Maintain and update payroll records in ADP Workforce Now with zero-error tolerance
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries with clear, empathetic communication
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare quarterly/annual payroll reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience with multi-state compliance
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent payroll software proficiency
- Expert knowledge of FLSA, CA labor laws, and federal/state tax regulations
- Proven ability to handle confidential data with discretion and integrity
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functionality
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
