Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to evaluate borrower risk profiles
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and risk assessments for loan approval committees
- Monitor existing portfolios for compliance with lending policies and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with commercial lenders to structure optimal financing solutions for clients
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banking partners and industry stakeholders
- Identify emerging risks and recommend mitigation strategies for portfolio health
- Stay current on financial regulations and industry best practices affecting credit analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of credit analysis experience in commercial lending or financial services
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling software (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg Terminal)
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB) strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of GAAP, credit risk frameworks, and lending regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
