Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for loan committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk detection
- Collaborate with sales teams to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting lending practices
- Develop and maintain accurate credit scoring models
- Present findings to stakeholders through clear, data-driven reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years of credit analysis or underwriting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and credit risk frameworks
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Credit certification (CRCM/CCE) preferred
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
