Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll and ensure tax compliance for remote employees.
- Manage financial reporting, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing and financial inquiries.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to maintain financial records.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar finance role (2+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Must reside in Florida and have a stable high-speed internet connection.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting.
