Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and client-specific reports using QuickBooks Online
- Process payroll, tax filings, and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Implement and optimize accounting workflows for 15-20 small business clients
- Collaborate with CPA firms during audits and tax season
- Monitor cash flow trends and provide financial insights to clients
- Train clients on accounting software best practices
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Proficiency in Excel, payroll processing, and sales tax filings
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation or equivalent experience
- Exceptional attention to detail with 100% accuracy in financial records
- Strong communication skills for client relationship management
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a remote work environment
