Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable/receivable with same-day payment processing
- Reconcile bank accounts and prepare monthly financial statements
- Generate P&L reports and sales tax filings for Michigan businesses
- Implement automated accounting workflows using Zapier and Integrate.io
- Provide real-time financial consultations via virtual client meetings
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations for daily payment systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced QuickBooks Online certification required
- Proven experience with daily pay processing platforms
- Expertise in Michigan sales tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Remote work experience with reliable internet connection
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
