About the Role
The Accounts Payable Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments, and expense reports.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, coding, and authorization in a timely manner.
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently.
- Reconcile accounts payable ledgers and prepare month-end accruals.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and audits as required.
- Maintain and update vendor master files and payment schedules.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP preferred).
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) required.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
